Children of Destiny

Children of Destiny.

Eid with TEARS.

Our celebration of Eid this time again is enveloped by turn of odd events which instead of leading us to #EidYards reach us to grave yards .

Instead of wearing colourful dresses ,we are content with black tops.

The colourful dishes mock at our faces and remind us the people who lost their dear ones to odd conflict.

Our near ones may be around , pulsing the palm and forehead of people who have nobody to feed them or accompany them disappears the very aroma of festival.

We either have to shoulder the coffins or visit grave yards to bury our own celebrations.

You write or not you are labelled a conspirator journo thus gun down .

We are now left with nothing but daily routine of losing innocent souls to conflicting environment

God has His way of treating us since we deserve to be marooned as our conscience had busted out of ceiling tops which is cause of our present status.

Anyways with a heavy heart let us proceed ahead and whipe the gloomy faces who have been muzzled by brute forces of our adversaries.

People always look to their festivals for rejoicing the Moments but in Kashmir it is reason of our agonies

The marooned race can not afford to go to Eid grounds to offer prayers since here again conspirators play rule and people rained with bullets.

People from all corners of the world visit people on Eid to offer pleasantries but we visit to offer condolences.

We have forgot to embrace county men after Eid prayers as do others since people look for shelter after prayers.

The invisible forces have now make it mission to disturb our religious activities and Friday prayers.

It is difficult to locate our enemy since they have worn on dress with our own identities.

Whom to catch hold and whom to set free tantamount to our real confusions

We have lost connection with our youth as conspirators have corrupted their mentalities

Skies oftentimes burst into tears to be on our side during our agonies.

Our race and new generation is in dangers and fail to get answer to our prayers.

The womb is in danger so is our life ,finding outlet confuses.

One day we may be called the generation of utter neglect and race of mourners

Let us prostrate fully and let skies intervene and shore us to peaceful banks.

The end of an era The dynasty called Kazalbaash.

With the demise of Mirza Shabir Ahmad Kazalbaash we are facing and experiencing the end of an golden era.

The parents of Mirza shabir were historical personalities and were occupying the highest civilian posts in Kashmir during the years 1960-61

There is a historical importance to the wedlock of the parents of Shabir Ahmad Kazalbaash as they got married after the legal intervention of Quad-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinah.

The Kashmiri History is testimony to the fact that the mother of Shabir Ahmad Kazalbaash Begum Halema Chibbu, fondly called Begum sahiba was engaged somewhere else but Meher Ali Kazalbaash, who had migrated to this part of the Kashmir from Pakistan was adamant to get married to the lady who had captivated his heart.

When Meher Ali,who was holding a senior position in police force approached the Chibbu family, the equally a noble family of Kashmir, the proposal was accepted but locals raised a finger on the arrangement as in view of the engagement of the lady to somebody else, the marriage could not be as per the islamic norms unless the previous arrangement is not consumed.

On this resentment the powerful Meher Ali Kazalbaash approached the Quad-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinah of Pakistan to plead his case and allow the marriage to take place.

The folklore had it that Mr Jinah who had just returned from England after completing his barrister ship agreed to take up this case and visited Kashmir for this very case and fought it to its logical conclusion.

The case was won by the Kasalbaash and marriage was made possible and this way beauty and power got united and two powerful families of Kashmir got united in this marriage proposition.

Out of this wedlock Mr. Mirza Shabir Ahmad Kazalbaash was born and he was treated like a prince from his early childhood. But his father could not see the blossoming of the son into a mature person as he passed away after few years of his marriage.

The Hallema Kazalbaash, mother of Shabir has now risen to the highest post in education department and was always on tours as those days whole Jammu and Kashmir used to be under the control of one head of the institution.

The official engagements would off and on compelled the mother to leave his son under the custody of many servants but the love of mother was sometimes compromised.

The further job responsibilities have now crept deep into the relationship of mother and son and at times the dotted son was missing the company of his father who was taken away by the destiny but now finding his mother also so much engrossed in her official engagements made the relation further stranger.

Mr Shabir had a golden spoon in his mouth right from the birth and was carrying the superior genes of superior parents and excelled in his academic field but could not translate his gifted qualities in a successful career. He completed his degree in law from Alligarh muslim university and joined local court for practice. The field of law could not satisfy his creative urge and left the promising practice and joined the education department as teacher. But here also he found something wanting and left this job as well.

Mr Shabir had a sizable about of immovable and movable property and started his business from a owned property in General bus stand Anantnag. He established a restaurant but after some time he closed this venture as well and purchased few more properties at Pahalgam,a world renowned health resort.

After some time he got married to a distant relative from Anantnag and lead a successful marriage life and converted his old big ancestral mansion into a educational institute and handed it over to a reputed institution on rent and life went on smoothly and settled for good.

He is blessed with one son and a daughter both studying outside the state and are doing fine.

Mr Shabir ahmad Kazalbaash passed away on 25th of February 2012 after a brief illness and left this world for eternal peace. May Allah bless the departed soul.

Before his departure he had made arrangements to construct a new house near the premises of his in laws in anticipation that in case something happens to him at least his family is secured in the company of their dear one,s.

Let us prey that the departed soul rest in peace and give courage to wife daughter son and other relatives to bear the loss.
The end of an era.

Don,t ignore realities.

Interlocutors appointed by Govt. Of India must not underestimate the truth behind Kashmir issue by having to travel few miles to enter the roads of history linked with it.

The statement by the interlocutors that ;Governance cannot substitute political settlement and that ;solutions can be found within the constitution, does carry some weight but the people of Kashmir are comfortable with the constitution of the country.

If we visit history sheets we will come to know that Kashmir has never been the part of the India but it was always independent but the disillusioned leaders of the place has lead them to present day crises.

It is a healthy sign that finally interlocutors are going to submit their findings to the Govt. Of India. Dileep Padgaonkar, one of the three interlocutors ,while briefing the press said that the agenda is to seek a permanent political settlement of Kashmir within the frame work of Indian constitution.

We may suggest few suggestions to the interlocutors before they submit the report to the Govt. So to allow the promises made to the people of Kashmir by the leaders of India, find a relevance in the report.

First before submitting the report they should shed light on the ;Amritsar treaty signed on March 16 1846,when British illegally sold Kashmir to the Maharaja Gulab Singh,in return for his loyalty towards British empire. This treaty was not only immoral but it also makes any accession with India technically illegal and illogical.

Second interlocutors should also reflect article 152 of 1956 amended constitution which defines Indian states and specifies that the expression; State; does not include the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Third the report should also highlight all the UN security council resolutions passed on Kashmir and particularly the UNCIP resolution adopted on January 5,1949 which talks of; democratic method of a free and impartial plebiscite in Kashmir.

The forth the report should also debate on all the pledges made by Nehru to the world community and to the people of Kashmir.

The fifth the report should reflect upon the speech of Nehru which he made on All India Radio on November 2,1947 in which he reaffirmed the ; Indian Governments commitment to the right of the Kashmiri people through plebiscite to determine their own destiny;.

The sixth the report should not miss the one more speech of Nehru in which he said; people seem to forget that Kashmir is not a commodity for sale or to be bartered. It has an individual existence and its people must be the final arbiters of their future.

If the interlocutors will deliberate upon the said 6 points before it is submitted to govt of India they may arrive at an appropriate workable solution which may be acceptable to the Kashmiris otherwise the final report will be irrelevant.

Yes dear interlocutors any ready made solution within or out of the am bit of Indian constitution will not be acceptable to the people. We also hope that please stop branding ,Kashmir issue, an economic problem or a cultural clash. It is actually the issue of a nation, which had its history. We also are of the opinion that report should not be bureaucratic and politically biased report.

After all this is the question of the world’s largest democracy, which needs to rise and rise above the ground to deliver on the lines of promises made as high office as that of a Prime Minister of the country.

We Kashmiris are determined in our pursuits and no force on this earth can defeat us and our determinations, we will one day breath in the surroundings of Freedom, God willing.
